Brad Henes has been selected as the Wisconsin District (State) AAU Baseball Director.  He was appointed to his new position by Wisconsin AAU Governor Keith Noll and AAU Baseball National Chair Ed Skovron.

Henes is well versed in all aspects of organizing youth baseball and understanding teams’ needs.  He coached his young son for seven years, served as President of the Waukesha Blazers organization for nine years, and now is the general manager of 5 Diamonds, Inc., which owns the premiere baseball facility, Infinity Baseball Fields. As general manager, Henes has expertise in running quality baseball events, scheduling, recruiting teams and personnel, upkeep of their website, and resolving any issues that arise during an event.

An accomplished leader with particular strengths in team building, strategic planning, customer service, and communication, Henes has big plans for AAU Baseball in Wisconsin. His goals for the 2016 season are to run three to five AAU-licensed tournaments in the state of Wisconsin, to recruit between 50 and 100 teams to play in AAU Baseball, and to start a licensed AAU Travel Ball League. He would like to see that league send teams to AAU Nationals and the AAU Junior Olympic Games.

About Henes, AAU Wisconsin Governor Keith Noll said, “We are very pleased to have Brad Henes on board in this leadership capacity to grow AAU Baseball in the state of Wisconsin. AAU Baseball is one of the best programs in the country and we want to prove that to all the Wisconsin baseball athletes.”

Ed Skovron, National Baseball Chair for AAU added, “It is a pleasure to welcome Brad to the AAU Baseball management team. Brad has shown he has what it takes to make Wisconsin an integral part of the national AAU Baseball picture.”
