Kent Island Bucs Win Inaugural 12U AAU International World Baseball Championship
The Kent Island Bucs returned home to Maryland on the night of September 7 with some additional hardware to delicately store in the over head compartment. Earlier that day the Bucs waited out one last rain delay before facing the Canes Baseball Academy from Miami in the final of the AAU International World Baseball Championship.
The Bucs recorded their fifth straight win of the tournament and became the first ever champions of the AAU's inaugural international competition. The Bucs played excellent baseball at all positions and throughout the lineup. Congratulations to the entire Kent Island Bucs organization. We thank all teams for participating and hope to host you all again at the 2016 International World Championships.
