Finally, after record snow fall this winter and a late start to the spring baseball season in New England, the sun was shining on April 18-19 for the New England AAU's annual spring kick-off tournament in Providence, Rhode Island. 

The RI Eagles defeated the Blackstone Valley Spinners 9-1 in the championship final to earn the first place trophy and the official champions t-shirts. Congratulations to the RI Eagles and thank you to all teams for participating in this year's Spring Baseball Classic.

The NEAAU Spring Classic is a great warm up for the NEAAU Spring League Season which begins on April 25-26. All teams that participated begin league play this weekend and we wish them all the best of luck.
