Hawaii AAU Baseball is making waves and has been one of the AAU's fastest growing districts since 2015. Driving membership in the Hawaii district is the Big Island Baseball League. The league was founded by a group of parents who's children love baseball and want it to continue in Kona and throughout Hawaii. Although they have been working cohesively with the previous AAU league on the Big Island, they are in no way affiliated with any other previous Kona leagues.
BIBL is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and is comprised of an all-volunteer and active board of directors. The program is open to all boys and girls from ages 5 through 12 who want to play baseball.
The Big Island Baseball League's primary goal is to provide an enjoyable environment for youth. They strive for a community-based experience focusing on safety, teamwork, sportsmanship, and overall confidence while promoting the game of baseball.
